At the time of the luncheon, he held a record of 20-3, the first 20-game winner in the major leagues this year, and the first one on the Red Sox since Josh Beckett in 2007. A light tower at Dick Casey’s Dorchester Town Field fell over during high winds in February, 2016.
Thankfully it fell towards the field, damaging only the batting cage, and no homes or people. It happened at night and no one was hurt. Read more
