At three Boston Park League baseball playoff games last night, home-plate umpires directed memorial services for Babe Ruth, one of sandlot baseball’s greatest friends. Homeage was paid the great Bambino at American Legion Park, East Boston; Fallon Field, Roslindale, and Jefferson Park in Jamaica Plain.
