Information for Prospective Players
The 2007 season will begin on Monday, May 21st, 2007. We plan on playing a 32 game regular season schedule, but subject to change. We play Monday thru Friday, and occasional Sunday games. All games (except Sunday) are under the lights, beginning at 7:30 or 8pm. All fields are located in the City of Boston. Towards the end of the regular season, an all star team will be selected by the coaches and managers, to play another amateur league all star team (s), at a site to be determined. In early August, playoffs begin with the top 4 teams playing a 3 out of 5 game series. The 2 winners will play for the league championship in a 4 out of 7. All teams will begin working out around the first of May. To make contact, names/addresses/ phone #'s/email/ of all team representatives and managers can be found on the Officers and Board of Directors link. When teams wish to announce try outs for new players, they will be posted here. We invite those players who have high school, college, or pro experience, who feel they can participate in a quality baseball program, and make a full commitment to maintain a full summer schedule.
The Managers and Coaches of the Boston Park League invites any prospective players for the coming season to contact them directly by telephone or email. Click on the Officers and Board of Directors link for the necessary information.
