The Boston Park League held it's 31st consecutive Annual Alumni Reunion - Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday evening, November 9th, 2012, at Lantana's in Randolph, Ma. The following 5 players were elected to the Boston Park League Hall of Fame, Class of 2012. Each gave outstanding acceptance speeches before a packed and enthusiastic audience.

- Mark Krukonis - Palmer Club
- Marty Nastasia - Stockyard
- Cosmo Nicastro - Great Scott
- Dennis Semler - Triple D's

A request to Hall Of Fame Members, former & current players, and friends of the Boston Park League:
The league would like to establish an email group listing of all Hall of Fame members, former & current players and friends of the Park League who have internet access, which will be kept on file by the Secretary Treasurer. We wish to keep you informed with updated information regarding the league. We are planning on increasing our media relations network, to include twitter and facebook. We are also looking at sending out periodical electronic newsletters to those who sign on. The 13th Annual Dick Clegg - Howie Stein Memorial Golf Tournament was played on Monday, July 30th, 2012, at the Easton Country Club, Easton, Ma., as 90 golfers teed off under perfect weather conditions. For detailed results, click on the golf tournament link.
Peter O'Brien, a member of the Jamaica Plain Historical Society, would like to write a story on George "Red" Johnson, long time manager of the Johnson Bombers Baseball Team, a member of the Boston Park League in the 50's & 60's. Red was a life long resident of Jamaica Plain and a charter member of the BPL Hall of Fame, class of 1982. If you have any hard data, anecdotes or folk lore on Red, please contact Peter at book.man@verizon.net.
The Carlson Club has won 4 BPL championships in a row, begining in 2009. They are now the 2nd most successful team in league history for consecutive championships. The Dick Casey Club holds the league record, winning 6 in a row, from 1939 to 1944. The Dorchester Town Field was renamed after the legandary manager/sponsor Dick Casey, a Dorchester legislator.
